For the fourth time entrepreneurs and executives of all Industries, high-level representatives from politics and science as well as regional and national media representatives have been brought together under the motto “Courage to Success” at the Medium-Sized Entrepreneurs Day 2008 in Leipzig on 1 October 2008. Ms Jutta Waldeck, General Manager of the Permanent Representation of the BVMW in Singapore was on site to represent BVMW Singapore and to nurture the good relationships with the other Permanent Representations of the BVMW.

The Medium-Sized Entrepreneurs Day 2008 was already the third time in the Congress Center Leipzig and has grown to a national and cross-industry information and communication platform for senior executives mainly from Middle-Germany. Around 2,500 executives were expected. The event included five panel discussion sessions with experts from politics, science and economics. Furthermore, over 40 different workshops and more than 230 product and company presentations were conducted.

The BVMW Singapore used the event to increase awareness of the representation office and its partners worldwide. Besides the BVMW Singapore other representatives from the wider Asian region, the BVMW Australia, Vietnam and Mongolia attended. For the BVMW Singapore the Medium-Sized Entrepreneurs Day 2008 was a good opportunity to meet different clients and customers and to strengthen the collaboration with our partners in Germany.
